As we are a manufacturing facility, we do not have a computer technician on our staff. Since starting with Computer Master in 1996 we have tripled our computer network system. Computer Master has been involve from networking, cabling, printers, and user stations through all of our growth. We have been able to pull from the resources at Computer Master for product knowledge and service over the years. My IBM ThinkPad is a great machine. It has handled two major drops (both
onto concrete, with some force, over a bit of a distance), major
temperature extremes, a house under construction and more. The laptop
has met my expectations without fail... except for the power supply.

.....Today, it died. I contacted IBM and was informed that every retail
outlet had been closed. The IBM warehouse was closed. They may be able
to get the power adapter by the end of the day (they MAY BE able). They
did promise to be able to deliver by the following business day (Monday
is not an option)...
.....IBM service was courteous but pretty poor. Basically I could wait and
see if they had the part. They also offered to courier it to me for the
next business day. Not a good result.....

.....Then I got in touch with Brian at Computer Master. He did not have the part in stock (my
heart fell, I was counting on the CTN to do the trick), but he would check and get back to me. 

Five gut wrenching minutes later the phone rang. Brian had contacted his warehouse, they would have it within the hour!


An hour for Brian to do what all of IBM could not. Amazing service....
