Incremental Backup
Traditionally, backup software recognizes altered files and uploads the new version as a replacement. Our software seeks out what files have been changed, what binary changes were made and uploads those changes only. This way, daily backups of large files are quick and easy.

Version History
We offer UNLIMITED Version history at no detriment to your subscribed storage—every version of every file is indefinitely stored in our datacenters. The deletion of your backed-up file(s) is never automated and can only be performed by the account holder.

Security
COMPUTER MASTER features 3-tiered encryption for your data beginning with a 256-bit AES before transfer over a 128-bit SSL tunnel only to be further protected with a 1024-bit AES once the backup is stored. Most of our competitors will encrypt your files once, before or after transfer. We do not simply save copies in the same location, we send a copy of your data to a completely different data center—all 10 of which are Tier III & IV rated.

Intelligent File Filters
Tell COMPUTER MASTER Online Backup to watch your My Documents folder but to ignore all *.mp3’s and *.avi’s. Alternatively tell COMPUTER MASTER to only protect *.doc, and *.xls. Either use our pre-sets or set your own inclusion/exclusion mask.

Enterprise Compression & Transfer Systems
The COMPUTER MASTER compression system only backs up changed files and then only the changed 1’s and 0’s are transferred. On a 500 MB database (MYOB/Intuit/Turbo Tax) the daily transfer can be as small as 5 KB. Our transfer system is enterprise grade, meaning that large file transfers are resumed at the KB of interruption, and does not start at the beginning like most other online backup systems.
