We have an in-house system which keeps track of all of our customers licensing renewals as well as additions as required on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and/or annual basis.
Our most common services are renewing the Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and Anti-Spam software licenses of our customers choice. Our customers needn’t worry or be concerned about this as we maintain everything for them. We inform and keep our customers in the loop of all version changes, product updates, licensing changes and requirements.
Licensing is simple to us but to many of our customers it is complex, annoying and a real nuisance to look after.

We perform complete audits to reveal any discrepancies in software compliancy for all of our customers. We keep our customers up-to-date and aware of any software compliance issues they may have and make certain that we make them aware of all inequities in this regard.
We have an audit software that we use which tells us the exact version of software being used currently on each workstation and server. We then align these versions with the paper copy and reconcile accordingly. If discrepancies result then we order the appropriate number of copies required to obtain 100% compliancy.
It can be a daunting task to keep up with all versions of all software on all workstations and servers thus Computer Master makes this simple, easy effective and affordable. We have a system that has been in operation since the mid 1990’s which simplifies everything to do with this task.

Our system was put into practice due to a story which is worth telling. Years ago, we had one customer who was an engineering firm who was not compliant in MS Office. It was their choice and against our strongest recommendations. They were growing very fast and becoming very large. They were 5 people when we started with them and are now 50 people. Having said this, it only took one disgruntled employee who was fired to expose their software non-compliancy internal issues and it ended up costing the company somewhere nearly 100k once all was said and done. They were fined and they also had to purchase all legal copies for every workstation that wasn’t compliant. In summary, Computer Master will only install licensed copies of software on all of our customers networks with zero tolerance.
Obviously, it is up to our customer to be compliant and we may not force them but our recommendations are always very strong based on the story that we just shared.
